The Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe will be the ongoing home for the programming developed by the Renesan Institute for Lifelong Learning.
Presentations under this new model began in September 2025, and attendees have been extremely enthusiastic about CCA as the venue, citing the comfortable seating in the 109-seat cinema and in the smaller studio, the visual and audio quality of the presentations, the abundant free parking, and the availability of concessions.
“For almost 30 years, Renesan has been providing thousands of Santa Feans with the intellectual stimulation and social engagement which are so important to healthy living and vita, engaged aging,” Renesan Board President Floyd Cable said.
“By joining forces with CCA to furnish our business management, marketing, and primary venue, the Renesan program committee can focus on what it does best — developing top-quality presentations, discussion groups, and tours for the public,” added Barbara Moore, chair of the committee.
“Adding this enriching programming to CCA is an exciting way for us to continue on our path of deeply engaging our community,” Dale Albright, CCA’s executive director said. “By bringing Renesan into the CCA fold, we will honor its lasting impact and work to increase the reach of lifelong learning throughout Santa Fe and northern New Mexico.”
“Expanding the use of our facility to include educational opportunities and community collaboration is a key component of our business strategy,” added CCA’s Managing Director Kristin Pulatie. “We’re delighted to add Renesan to our programming portfolio, which also includes Foundations of Film, Closer Looks, Cult Classics, and Black and Indigenous Cinema.”
“This was an opportunity-driven decision, not a debt-driven one,” Cable observed. “At the end of our most recent fiscal year on June 30th, Renesan had a positive net worth of more than $50,000.”
“We see this as a terrific opportunity to expand the number and type of our offerings, which proved to be challenging to maintain during the pandemic and its aftermath,” he added. “Now we are able to focus on our mission’s raison d’être with 100% of our energy and attention.”
