Love Me Tonight

This racy, upscale 1932 musical starring Maurice Chevalier and Jeanette MacDonald (aka “The Lingerie Queen of the Talkies”) boasts an exceptional score by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. A Parisian tailor poses as a baron to collect a sizeable bill from an aristocrat, and ends up falling in love with an aloof young princess. The great supporting cast includes Myrna Loy and Charles Ruggles.
The film will screening will be preceded by a 25-minute introduction by Mark Tiarks. He’s a national award-winning writer for the Santa Fe New Mexican and a frequent Renesan presenter.
