A racy upscale 1932 musical starring Maurice Chevalier and Jeanette MacDonald (aka “The Lingerie Queen of the Talkies”) with an exceptional score by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. A Parisian tailor poses as a baron to collect a sizeable bill from an aristocrat, and ends up falling in love with an aloof young princess.
