Course Types:

  • In-Person courses: Presented in-person only at RENESAN or as a tour. Discussion classes are generally smaller to allow more interaction with the instructor and fellow students.
  • ZOOM Only courses: Presented online via ZOOM. Discussion-based courses will allow participants to see and hear each other as well as the instructor. Presentation-based courses allow students to see and hear the instructor and any presentation materials, but participants are not on camera and are muted. Participants can ask the instructor questions via a moderated chat text box. Sessions will not be recorded for distribution.
  • Hybrid courses: Offered in both in-person and ZOOM format. Our most flexible format. Students can choose to attend in-person or via ZOOM. For multi-session courses, students may change how they attend without notification to RENESAN. All students receive the ZOOM link. Discussion-based courses will allow participants to see and hear each other as well as the instructor. Sessions will not be recorded for distribution.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Course registrations are non-refundable unless canceled by RENESAN. Please consider your fellow students and email RENESAN at officemanager@renesan.org if you will not be able to attend and wish to release your seat. This will allow RENESAN the opportunity to offer registration to another student. We will not be able to release your seat for registration via phone calls.
  • If a course is canceled for whatever reason, every attempt is made to reschedule the program. If rescheduling is not possible, students are refunded fees according to the method of original payment. Credit card payments are credited back to the credit card. Cash and check payments are refunded by check. Students who are unable to participate in rescheduled programs receive a refund.

Course format changes:

  • If courses that are in progress are changed from in-person to online format due to federal, state, or local public health orders, RENESAN will not offer a refund.

Online Courses/technical difficulties:

  • For online courses, no refunds will be issued for technical issues at the user end. Students must ensure that their internet connection and computer devices meet the minimum requirements for using Zoom before registering for courses.
